SpamWarrior responds:

Lol thank you sir, too kind. I eventually realised that pitchbending isnt the best way to to mix this :) But i leave it as a testament to my insanity. Even my head hurts when i listen to it, and i made the fucking thing :) If you like cheesy euro pop aqua are good, pretty creative for pop music, shame they dont exist anymore.

Unfathomable. You'll never read this, but...

You know, people get mad when people rave on about your music. But I say, if they've earned the raving in the first place, let them be. Credit is given where credit is due.
And this is the best song I have ever heard, and most likely ever will hear, on Newgrounds AP.

My ABSOLUTE favorite.

that was awesome.

dude, that was good shit right there. dark-techno is so fucking trippy. just like drum n bass is the shit cause its dark. man, that was cool. 5-grade work.

- Johnny_Beat

NewEvolution responds:

Nice man, thanks. I've always been a fan of darker techno...I just need to get me some audio software now. Since I've started living in a Mac exclusive environment, I've been without BuzzTracker which is what I'd used for all my work thus far. I'll have to look into some of the Mac audio programs out there and get back into the swing of things.

Not bad

I loved the long intro alot, the thing that kinda got to me was how you kind of got a little off-theme midway in your song. The midi sound of it all got on my nerves a little, I liked the beat, but it was a little disorganized at some parts. however, it was still pretty good.

4/5.

- Johnny_Beat

NewEvolution responds:

I'd agree. It's one of my earlier pieces, and looking back some of the drums get a bit harsh and repetitive. The sounds does switch about halfway, but that's part of the progression...could use a bit smoother transition perhaps. Thanks for the critique though, I appreciate hearing what can make my work better.

I love it.

There is nothing better in a classical song than just a single straight piano. Even though I love almost every type of music, there's just something about a single piano.

Ever played Final Fantasy VII? Remember that techno-like song when you fight Jenova? Turned out the japanese actual just put a cover on that from a famous piano player known as noir. Check out Noir - Jenova. You'll see what I mean.

Anyway, one hell of a piano song my friend. I sincerely enjored it. Keep up the good work!

Buck-Wizzle responds:

Thanks for the review mate
I do very much enjoy the piano, as I can see you do too. I have to agree with you when you talk about the single piano; for some reason it sounds more complete than any other instrument and sometimes more so than a collection of instruments. Unfortunately I've never gotten the privallage of playing FFVII, but being such of fan of their music, I've probably heard that song, and check out Noir - Jenova I will. Thanks again for the rev!

definantly "ill"

That was truly a miraculous peice of work.

I really felt stoned listening to that. Or that I should be stoned...

The vocals, as chronamut said, were extremely sick. The track was trance-like, but at the same time too slow to be trance really...It was like a trance song that was slowed down and taken apart.

Anyway, A+ work right there. Maybe you should think of a remix?

-Johnny_Beat

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks - I most likely will remix this a bit - I'm glad that you liked it - Next time around I'll most likely bring the tempo up a bit and then throw in more glitchy stuff.

I think I've seen you posting around the audio forum - I'll take a listen to some of your stuff...

Miami huh? Looks like I'm just a little upstate from ya'... Any good clubs down there where an aspiring young artist might get thier music played?

....interesting

i liked it...
but dude, put that under the 'video game' genre.
have you heard your own song? God...

now this is your best work

the only thing i didnt like about it was that it seemed a little "all over the place" about 30 or 40 seconds into it with the beat. other than that, id say its a very relaxing track.

good job core "e". if only you were as pretty as your music. =)

neighborhood-plastic responds:

yeah thanks. about that- my timing is not horrible. it's creative experimenting, man.
but i understand that it sounds a bit incoherent. i've heard it once before. only once.

yeah.

now that was good.

that song was a neat little loop.
but i suggest you finish it and make it into a beast of a masterpiece. and you were right.

it sounds a lot like fischer spooner.

copyright infridgement. =)
